What is TanzSichten?
TanzSichten is a residency and open stage program for dance artists from Germany to sustainably improve the visibility of dance, inspire the relationship with the audience and strengthen the dynamic and diverse dance scene of Lower Saxony.
With this format, the three partners Tanzpunkt Hannover, TANZKOOP and LOT-Theater create opportunities for the development and presentation of choreographic works at different stages of the creative process.
Who do we look for?
We seek freelance, contemporary dance creators from all over Germany with an interest in sustainable networking and exchange with the regional dance scene and the dance-interested audience in Hannover and Braunschweig.
We are looking for short-format concepts, independent of the phase of the creative process. The choreographic realization of the idea should be vividly described.

The focus is on the exchange with the audience and the local dance scene. The performing dancers will be invited for training, rehearsing and networking the day before the Open Stage and a moderated audience discussion will serve as a direct exchange between artists and the local audience.
